The ideal candidate is an articulate, organized, conscientious university student majoring in public relations or a related field, with strong writing and research skills and a thirst for knowledge. The public relations internship is an intensive and eye-opening experience for the beginning PR professional. We entrust our interns with sizeable projects, promotions and other projects; assisting with event planning and press conferences; and representing the agency as an extension of the account team. Interns are encouraged to ask questions, attend industry events and make the most of their experiences throughout the semester. The internship consists of 20 set hours per week, arranged to complement class schedules, and pays a stipend, plus reimbursement for mileage accrued during work-related tasks.
